Over 900 educators attend Yeshiva Day School Conferences
Over 900 educators attended The Jewish Education Project’s annual professional development conferences for yeshiva day school educators in greater New York City.
More than 650 teachers and administrators packed Hebrew Academy of Long Beach for the 2018 Annual Yeshiva Day School Day Of Learning. A short walk way, 280 teachers filled the Gural JCC for the Early Childhood Yeshiva Day School Conference. More than 34 different speakers presented on diverse topics ranging from data-driven instruction in Judaic Studies to workshops on understanding dyslexia.
The workshops and training sessions provided immediate benefits to attendees of both conferences.
"The teachers from my school, are overflowing with excitement about the many new ideas they received at the workshops. They are already trying these things in their classroom. It was a really great day,” said one early childhood director after the event.
