What do you need to focus on for your students to excel?
This workshop will be presented by Mica Bloom, Chairman of the English department at the Yeshivah of Flatbush, and a past presenter on high school ELA. Teachers will explore the writing sections of the test. Teachers will start with the high scoring Part two Argument Essay- looking at strategies to help our students write this multi-faceted essay. The next step is exploring the Part three Text-Analysis Response and what elements needed to focus on to help students write a successful response.
